Cookieless visit statistics
We keep our own cookieless statistics to understand which pages are useful. We store the page visited, the website you came from (domain only), campaign parameters (UTM) if any, device type and browser language. We do not store your IP address. To count unique visitors we derive a code from your IP address, browser and a secret value that changes every day — the code cannot be traced back to you or linked across days. Legal basis: legitimate interest. Statistics are kept for at most 25 months.
Demo requests
When you request a demo we store your name, e-mail, hotel name, number of rooms, country, your message and the page you came from. We use this only to arrange and hold the demo and to follow up about BookingWatch. Legal basis: legitimate interest and steps prior to a possible contract. The data is kept for at most 24 months unless you become a customer.
Cookies and third parties
The public website sets no cookies. Fonts and all files are served from our own server. We never sell personal data. Data is stored with our hosting provider within the EU/EEA.
Guest e-mails in the BookingWatch service
When a hotel uses BookingWatch, we process guest e-mails on the hotel's behalf as a data processor under a separate data processing agreement with the hotel.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify or erase your data, to object to processing and to request restriction. E-mail info@bookingwatch.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
